When Rufling FSV's Fabian Hörholdt in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Patric Alfert guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Fabian Hörholdt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patric Alfert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabian Hörholdt in the 38th minute. In the 38th minute, Marlon Scherrer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufling FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leonding FSV the free kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leonding FSV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
