Julius Umbach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Christian Rapolder having to make a save. Julius Umbach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Christian Rapolder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Pfennigbach's Joshua Lang got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Pfennigbach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Pflipsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pfennigbach's goalkeeper Steffen Hecht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steffen Hecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willi Bachmayr, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Ischlberg getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Torsten Ulrich hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julius Umbach got free with Sven-Christian Rapolder in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Hendrik Moser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pfennigbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ischlberg the free kick. A collision led to Pfennigbach getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hendrik Moser hit a great ball. Steffen Hecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Horneber in the 33rd minute of play. Pfennigbach's Steffen Hecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willi Bachmayr in the 35th minute of play. Steffen Hecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willi Bachmayr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Horneber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Hecht having to interfere. Steffen Hecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willi Bachmayr in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willi Bachmayr made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Alexander Horneber notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pfennigbach's Steffen Hecht. Steffen Hecht was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Willi Bachmayr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Steffen Hecht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julius Umbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pfennigbach's Sebastian Pflipsen got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Sebastian Pflipsen off the ground. After 69 played minutes Pfennigbach got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Pflipsen. In the 76th match minute, Ischlberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Schrörs to maneuver through the defense. Pfennigbach's Hendrik Moser couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ischlberg. Alexander Horneber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Steffen Hecht made a huge save. Ischlberg's Willi Bachmayr got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steffen Hecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willi Bachmayr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Umbach in the 88th minute of play forced Ischlberg's goalkeeper Sven-Christian Rapolder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius Umbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sven-Christian Rapolder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 93rd minute of the match Ralf Sass completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ralf Sass a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Pfennigbach booed when Ischlberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Sass didn't get a good kick on the ball.
