Ralf Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Hens in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Krammer in the 5th minute of play forced FC Thüringen's goalkeeper Ralf Mallinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralf Mallinger made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Walter Schulze-Oben sent off a good shot on target. FC Żywiec's Jens Krammer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Jens Krammer could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Ralf Mallinger however easily saved by the left post. Jens Krammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ralf Mallinger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC Żywiec's Jens Krammer in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Thüringen's goalie prevented a goal. Ralf Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Hens in the 32nd minute of play. Ralf Mallinger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jens Krammer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Jens Krammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mallinger having to interfere. Ralf Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Krammer in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute Roland Hens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Mallinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralf Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Dieter Kolb in the 42nd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens Krammer made a kick off. Wolf Demmel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ralf Mallinger. FC Thüringen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ralf Mallinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Schulze-Oben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Mallinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Schulze-Oben in the 65th minute of play. Jens Krammer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Thüringen's zone, Jens Krammer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Mallinger came out of the goal and Jens Krammer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klaus-Marco Kühbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Mallinger having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Schwärzler in the 76th minute of play forced FC Żywiec's goalkeeper Steven Schuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Jürgen Bähner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf Mallinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Ralf Mallinger didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Żywiec's Jens Krammer shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 83 minutes into the match, Hans-Dieter Kolb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Mallinger. FC Thüringen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans-Dieter Kolb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 87th match minute, FC Thüringen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Gagelmann to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, FC Żywiec's Walter Schulze-Oben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Mallinger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.
