Daniel Olejmeulen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Friesen in the 3rd minute of play. Philipp Huthmacher charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philipp Huthmacher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Linetshub getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Philipp Huthmacher hit a great ball. Marc Börstling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Daniel Olejmeulen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Lutz Friesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Olejmeulen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristof Schnaebeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Kristof Schnaebeli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domaćinski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute, Eike Dubberke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirk Schertz's late challenge caught a Domaćinski's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dirk Schertz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Linetshub getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dirk Schertz hit a great ball. During the 21st minute of the match Dirk Schertz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dirk Schertz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dirk Schertz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Kristof Schnaebeli came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Domaćinski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Schnaebeli couldn't finish the play. Sascha Brinkmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lutz Friesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Olejmeulen having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Lutz Friesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Olejmeulen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 34 minutes, Lutz Friesen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domaćinski and the Linetshub players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Domaćinski getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lutz Friesen hit a great ball. In the 38th play minute Dustin Brückner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jakob Aust. 1-2. Domaćinski's Marc Börstling got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Lutz Friesen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dustin Brückner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Joachim Köhler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Aust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Domaćinski booed when Linetshub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Musser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sascha Brinkmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marko Ozabiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joachim Köhler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Linetshub's goal looked a bit too open when Sascha Brinkmeier came free, but Daniel Olejmeulen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sascha Brinkmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Daniel Olejmeulen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakob Aust showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin Brückner in the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sascha Brinkmeier in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Olejmeulen saved Linetshub from getting behind. Linetshub's Philipp Huthmacher got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Philipp Huthmacher off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Linetshub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Huthmacher to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linetshub's goalkeeper Daniel Olejmeulen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sascha Brinkmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Köhler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jakob Aust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Domaćinski's Henrik Hendricks got a free kick in the 84th minute. During the 85th minute of the match Joachim Köhler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joachim Köhler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 85 played minutes Linetshub got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Köhler. Kristof Schnaebeli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Olejmeulen came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristof Schnaebeli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute Sascha Brinkmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Olejmeulen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Domaćinski left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Linetshub.
