Björn Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dida Vasconcelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Angst vorm Ball's goalkeeper Jens Schrape, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Steven Bachmayr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bastian Schreyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Krabbe came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dida Vasconcelos could save by the left post. TIGER's Dida Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save TIGER from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Hartmut Hägele left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Angst vorm Ball fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Dida Vasconcelos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Zahn got free with Dida Vasconcelos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marko Köller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Dida Vasconcelos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marko Köller had several of the TIGER's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Dida Vasconcelos as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 41st minute, Leopoldo Quintin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TIGER booed when FC Angst vorm Ball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Narr didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Hillerzeder in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Angst vorm Ball's goalkeeper Jens Schrape to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Börje Blom to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Angst vorm Ball's Marko Köller got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, FC Angst vorm Ball's Joachim Krabbe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dida Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Zahn in the 62nd minute of play.
