In the 8th minute, Joan Laze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Admir Lumaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Admir Lumaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaup Muzaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kruja KF's Joan Laze in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye University of Pennsylvani's goalie prevented a goal. After 27 minutes, Jaup Muzaka made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. University of Pennsylvani's Admir Lumaj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Admir Lumaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaup Muzaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Admir Lumaj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joan Laze's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes University of Pennsylvani got a freekick which was hit by Merdin Xhemollari. In the 43rdth minute of the game Endrit Marku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kruja KF's Afrim Demali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afrim Demali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endrit Marku in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaup Muzaka to strike the kick off in the second half. University of Pennsylvani's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Jaup Muzaka scored to the left of an out of position Admir Lumaj, making the score, 0-3. University of Pennsylvani's Hasan Vrapi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Drian Karapici kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Shkëlqim Marku sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Admir Lumaj skillfully saved the ball. If Joan Laze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kruja KF's Bilal Bizhyti shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Admir Lumaj but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merdin Xhemollari during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, University of Pennsylvani's Merdin Xhemollari got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in University of Pennsylvani's zone, Jaup Muzaka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Admir Lumaj came out of the goal and Jaup Muzaka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes Kruja KF got a freekick which was hit by Belul Kreshniku. In the 86th minute of the match Baki Vaso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afrim Demali showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, University of Pennsylvani's Admir Lumaj got control of the ball when Joan Laze tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kruja KF's zone, Hasan Vrapi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afrim Demali came out of the goal and Hasan Vrapi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hasan Vrapi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasan Vrapi in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afrim Demali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kruja KF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
