The supporters of Kavaja booed when Çepan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tani Prenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ledion Halili in the 9th minute of play forced Kavaja 's goalkeeper Valon Pëllumbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valon Pëllumbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mexhit Selimi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Mexhit Selimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Mexhit Selimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valon Pëllumbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Ledion Halili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valon Pëllumbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mexhit Selimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valon Pëllumbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mexhit Selimi in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kavaja 's goalkeeper Valon Pëllumbi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valon Pëllumbi came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Çepan FK's Mexhit Selimi. But to his dismay, Mexhit Selimi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mexhit Selimi in the 34th minute of play forced Kavaja 's goalkeeper Valon Pëllumbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Mexhit Selimi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çepan FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 45 minutes into the match, Çepan FK's Mexhit Selimi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valon Pëllumbi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mexhit Selimi made the kick off in the second half. Kavaja 's Valon Pëllumbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Kavaja from getting a goal against them. Valon Pëllumbi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mexhit Selimi's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Patriot Bedini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexhit Selimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Valon Pëllumbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kavaja 's Valon Pëllumbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Kavaja from getting a goal against them. Ledion Halili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valon Pëllumbi having to interfere. Marko Zhuta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Fakaj in the 87th minute of play. Mexhit Selimi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mexhit Selimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Çepan FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kavaja .
