The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Pajtim Hamdiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rian Shiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingert Jonuzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Avzi Kreshniku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Pajtim Hamdiu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rian Shiku. Besart Piqoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avzi Kreshniku having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Besart Piqoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Avzi Kreshniku. Besart Piqoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 32ndth minute of the game Besart Piqoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tepelena 's Avzi Kreshniku was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Tepelena 's Isak Dembeli got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Ingert Jonuzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingert Jonuzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Besart Piqoni made the kick off in the second half. Pajtim Hamdiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rian Shiku read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute Besart Piqoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avzi Kreshniku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florim Xhangolli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berat's goalkeeper Rian Shiku, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Griseld Ilo scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avzi Kreshniku, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isak Dembeli came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rian Shiku could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Florim Xhangolli put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rian Shiku. When Pajtim Hamdiu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Tepelena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pajtim Hamdiu couldn't finish the play. Berat's Rian Shiku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pajtim Hamdiu in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tepelena had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
