The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Portëz FK's Enkelejd Ambo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Guzman in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Portëz FK's Mitat Dragoi got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mandi Simaku in the 9th minute of play forced Portëz FK's goalkeeper Enkelejd Ambo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes Portëz FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mandi Simaku who took care of the corner kick. Mandi Simaku made a great header on Wanderers's corner, it was just that Portëz FK's Enkelejd Ambo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 15th minute, Mariglen Kapllani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enkelejd Ambo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Simaku in the 21st minute of the match. Wanderers's Trifon Bjondini got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Portëz FK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kristi Miho hit a great ball. If Trifon Bjondini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Celso Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celso Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Portëz FK's zone, Mandi Simaku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enkelejd Ambo came out of the goal and Mandi Simaku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enkelejd Ambo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Simaku in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mandi Simaku in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enkelejd Ambo saved Portëz FK from getting behind. Portëz FK's Enkelejd Ambo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mandi Simaku in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariglen Kapllani to make the kick off. Mandi Simaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pëllumb Namiu charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pëllumb Namiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pëllumb Namiu hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Kleant Meidani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Portëz FK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Thoma Pango hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, one of Portëz FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kleant Meidani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Enkelejd Ambo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Pëllumb Namiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Palla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Enkelejd Ambo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Wanderers getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Qazim Basha hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Portëz FK's Naim Ziko tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Portëz FK got a freekick which was hit by Mitat Dragoi. Mandi Simaku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Mandi Simaku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mandi Simaku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Mariglen Kapllani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portëz FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Mariglen Kapllani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Palla having to interfere. Wanderers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
