In the 3rd minute, Jozef Hajdari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merdin Eminaj was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niki Mara during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tirana getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Niki Mara hit a great ball. Donald Geri made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rexhep Mancaku sent off a good shot on target. When Ruden Naçi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Tirana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruden Naçi couldn't finish the play. Mujo Korani struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Donald Geri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Udenisht. Donald Geri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujo Korani in the 28th minute of the match. When Arbnor Dajçi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tirana 's protests and gave Arbnor Dajçi a yellow card for diving instead. Arbnor Dajçi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rexhep Mancaku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Udenisht's supporters rose to their feet, but Rexhep Mancaku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donald Geri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Tirana 's Donald Geri got control of the ball when Rexhep Mancaku tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Adis Pilinxhi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tirana 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Udenisht the free kick. Adis Pilinxhi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Niki Mara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Namik Tapa took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enjel Gashi. Enjel Gashi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ruden Naçi made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ruden Naçi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enjel Gashi was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Ruden Naçi might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enjel Gashi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruden Naçi ran back to his position shaking his head. Rexhep Mancaku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Donald Geri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruden Naçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Shpëtim Murati fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Udenisht's protests and gave Shpëtim Murati a yellow card for diving instead. Fuat Maçolli kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Udenisht's goalkeeper Enjel Gashi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Namik Tapa. In the 91st minute Mujo Korani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Geri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
