The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Krumë's Albano Berberi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erigerti Bakalli. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Risto Marku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krumë's supporters rose to their feet, but Risto Marku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erigerti Bakalli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krumë's Drian Mile got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Krumë's goalkeeper Skënder Tafilaj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bilal Pajo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Qelëz FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bilal Pajo couldn't finish the play. Albano Berberi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erigerti Bakalli having to interfere. Krumë's Risto Marku got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Risto Marku in the 30th minute of play forced Qelëz FK's goalkeeper Erigerti Bakalli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erigerti Bakalli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Qetsor Shkëmbi. Krumë's Skënder Tafilaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilal Pajo in the 36th minute of play. Bilal Pajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rio Ziko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Skënder Tafilaj. Krumë's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Berberi in the 47th minute of play forced Qelëz FK's goalkeeper Erigerti Bakalli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Risto Marku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krumë's Skënder Tafilaj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Krumë from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Krumë fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty!
