Shkodra KS's David Cuni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erion Surroi in the 4th minute of play. If Erion Surroi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes of play, Shkodra KS's Pavli Neziri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Redion Lipo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Shkodra KS's goal looked a bit too open when Erion Surroi came free, but David Cuni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Picar SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Picar SK's zone, Pavli Neziri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Redion Lipo came out of the goal and Pavli Neziri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes Picar SK got a freekick which was hit by Admirim Bajraktari. Shefki Surollari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Redion Lipo having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shefki Surollari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dori Osja in the 56th minute of play forced Shkodra KS's goalkeeper David Cuni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
