Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Kaçi in the 14th minute of play forced Saranda FK's goalkeeper Armand Boba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lirim Kotomelo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, one of Hotolisht:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 26 minutes into the match, Saranda FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Kaçi came free, but Armand Boba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saranda FK's goalkeeper Armand Boba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vibar Çobani took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xhevdet Januzaj. Xhevdet Januzaj dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Ekrem Starova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reis Durollari to strike the kick off in the second half. Ekrem Starova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Armand Boba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Igli Noka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saranda FK and the Hotolisht players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saranda FK's Igli Noka got a free kick in the 59th minute. Armand Boba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Kaçi in the 63rd minute of play. Hotolisht's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekrem Starova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armand Boba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keltrin Lame kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Armand Boba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Kaçi in the 84th minute of play.
