Xhevdet Dabulla charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xhevdet Dabulla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Sulejman Rrapi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Meti Kurti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nedin Kokoneshi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edlir Kafka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kejni Ruvina having to interfere. Kejni Ruvina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edlir Kafka in the 17th minute of the match. Sulejman Rrapi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edlir Kafka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gjirokastër KS's goalkeeper Kejni Ruvina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Meti Kurti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laçi SK! In the 43rd minute, the referee gave Gjirokastër KS a penalty. Gajur Tahiri looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Nedin Kokoneshi. After a rather tough play, Gjirokastër KS's Gajur Tahiri got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meti Kurti to strike the kick off in the second half. Nedin Kokoneshi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meti Kurti's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Gjirokastër KS's Kejni Ruvina got control of the ball when Sulejman Rrapi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sulejman Rrapis short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Kejni Ruvina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Meti Kurti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nedin Kokoneshi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Isallari, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sulejman Rrapi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sulejman Rrapi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Kejni Ruvina skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edlir Kafka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tom Isallari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Laçi SK's Kushtrim Axhibajrami got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Gramoz Ktona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
