Qamil Aliaj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ylber Libani having to interfere. Ylber Libani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qamil Aliaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Driton Kasëmllari during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, mexhik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Driton Kasëmllari to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Pjeter Nano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but mexhik's Rodolf Fazliu did a great save. Ditjon Bazelli struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Rodolf Fazliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zavalinë. Nimet Çerçizi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolf Fazliu came out and tried to block the shot, but Nimet Çerçizi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, mexhik's Rodolf Fazliu got control of the ball when Ditjon Bazelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolf Fazliu made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ditjon Bazelli sent off a good shot on target. When Ditjon Bazelli came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Zavalinë fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ditjon Bazelli couldn't finish the play.

Aldi Sokoli charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldi Sokoli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to mexhik getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aldi Sokoli hit a great ball. Nimet Çerçizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolf Fazliu having to interfere. If Neshat Geri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zavalinë's Ylber Libani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neshat Geri in the 59th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Ylber Libani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Admirim Myftiu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zavalinë's protests and gave Admirim Myftiu a yellow card for diving instead. Qamil Aliaj who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Ylber Libani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Zavalinë booed when mexhik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enjel Elezi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Nimet Çerçizi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolf Fazliu. mexhik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nimet Çerçizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rodolf Fazliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nimet Çerçizi in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Neshat Geri in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ylber Libani saved Zavalinë from getting behind. The supporters of mexhik booed when Zavalinë was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sherif Panajoti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Qamil Aliaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. mexhik's supporters rose to their feet, but Qamil Aliaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ylber Libani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neshat Geri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ylber Libani having to make a save. mexhik's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
