With his leg Julien Nufi managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Tiranë's Pandi Osmeni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Kruja FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pal Laska hit a great ball. Julien Nufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Getoar Nini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Getoar Nini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julien Nufi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pandi Osmeni in the 26th minute. If Pandi Osmeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tiranë's Getoar Nini in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Julien Nufi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Kruja FK through an amazing save. In the 32nd minute, Kruja FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pandi Osmeni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Julien Nufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Getoar Nini, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Pal Laska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kruja FK defense, Pandi Osmeni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julien Nufi. The Kruja FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julien Nufi should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Getoar Nini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julien Nufi was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Përparim Kovaçi got free with Julien Nufi in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Getoar Nini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kruja FK's goal looked a bit too open when Getoar Nini came free, but Julien Nufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Getoar Nini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiranë's supporters crossed their fingers, but Getoar Nini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes, Getoar Nini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiranë and the Kruja FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Getoar Nini kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Pandi Osmeni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julien Nufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pandi Osmeni in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Getoar Nini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Nufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pandi Osmeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Getoar Nini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pandi Osmeni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julien Nufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Getoar Nini in the 77th minute of play forced Kruja FK's goalkeeper Julien Nufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julien Nufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pandi Osmeni in the 79th minute of play. If Getoar Nini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Getoar Nini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Julien Nufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Erdet Bekollari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julien Nufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Getoar Nini in the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Tiranë were the better team. Tiranë's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
