Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Billy Barton took the kick off in the first half of the match. Poynton City's Zak Holyfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Carpenter in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4thth minute of the game Reuben Carpenter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poynton City's Zak Holyfield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nick Croyden might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ged Downton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Croyden ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Milton City's zone, Mickey Bourne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ged Downton came out of the goal and Mickey Bourne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Mickey Bourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Downton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milton City's Ged Downton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Bourne in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Barton in the 23rd minute of play forced Poynton City's goalkeeper Zak Holyfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Archie Blowman kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Milton City's Stuart Haskell got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Billy Barton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zak Holyfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Carpenter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Reuben Carpenter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zak Holyfield was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Reuben Carpenter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zak Holyfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zak Holyfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Barton in the 48th minute of the match. Billy Barton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mickey Bourne kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Billy Barton might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zak Holyfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Barton ran back to his position shaking his head. Zak Holyfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Barton in the 65th minute of the match. Zak Holyfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Barton in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mickey Bourne in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ged Downton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zak Holyfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Barton in the 74th minute of play. Archie Blowman charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Blowman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Poynton City's Archie Blowman got a free kick in the 75th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Zak Holyfield successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Billy Barton struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Zak Holyfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milton City. Ged Downton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Croyden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zak Holyfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Barton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Reuben Carpenter struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Zak Holyfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milton City. Poynton City's Zak Holyfield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Poynton City from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Milton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin Sewell to maneuver through the defense. Nick Croyden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ged Downton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
