Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ray Hales kicked off to start the match. Jimmy Fawcett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ray Hales in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Lancing AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Pierce Armstrong hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Ray Hales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancing AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Hales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimmy Fawcett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierce Armstrong's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Ray Hales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancing AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Hales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stu Godsall hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sonny Haskell was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fitz Kent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Briant having to interfere. Ron Briant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fitz Kent went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryan Dryden during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bryan Dryden kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, FS LA MASSANA's goalkeeper Jimmy Fawcett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierce Armstrong. In the 38th match minute, FS LA MASSANA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Oakes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Ray Hales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zackary Stone was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FS LA MASSANA's goal looked a bit too open when Ray Hales came free, but Jimmy Fawcett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Hales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Fawcett having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Fitz Kent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FS LA MASSANA fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when FS LA MASSANA's Fitz Kent looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ray Hales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ronan Titmus fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lancing AFC's protests and gave Ronan Titmus a yellow card for diving instead. Stu Godsall took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ron Briant. Ron Briant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Zackary Stone took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ron Briant to make any attempt to save it. FS LA MASSANA's Jimmy Fawcett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierce Armstrong in the 90th minute of play. Fitz Kent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ron Briant made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FS LA MASSANA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
