In the 4th minute Platon Krohmal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vyacheslav Kryvoshyjenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Platon Krohmal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Kryvoshyjenko having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Znamjanka got a freekick which was hit by Borys Kotlyar. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Vsevolod Kravchuk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Platon Krohmal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grygoriy Danylovskyi scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vyacheslav Kryvoshyjenko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oleg Shuga charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oleg Shuga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Prypjatj booed when Znamjanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Shuga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes, Prypjatj's Tykhon Zayets shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matviy Isakov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Prypjatj reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Platon Krohmal to strike the kick off in the second half. Vyacheslav Kryvoshyjenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Platon Krohmal in the 51st minute of play. Symon Gerasymenko hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Grygoriy Danylovskyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Znamjanka's supporters rose to their feet, but Grygoriy Danylovskyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Prypjatj:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Znamjanka:s goal. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Znamjanka's Borys Kotlyar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vyacheslav Kryvoshyjenko. Grygoriy Danylovskyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Vyacheslav Kryvoshyjenko made a huge save. A collision led to Znamjanka getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Borys Kotlyar hit a great ball. In the 98th minute Mykhaylo Postranskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Isakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
