After a defensive mix-up in Brovary's zone, Myroslav Miklashevych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Chaban came out of the goal and Myroslav Miklashevych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute Tymofiy Milevskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Chaban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zakhar Dorogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Illja Ignatenko charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Illja Ignatenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd match minute, Novovolynsjk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Illja Ignatenko to maneuver through the defense. Artur Chaban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymofiy Milevskyi in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Brovary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Gunchenko to maneuver through the defense. Myroslav Miklashevych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Artur Chaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matviy Dmytryuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Matviy Dmytryuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brovary's supporters rose to their feet, but Matviy Dmytryuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tykhon Kopystko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, Brovary's goalkeeper Artur Chaban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Myroslav Miklashevych. 48 minutes into the match, Zakhar Dorogan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Novovolynsjk's Tykhon Kopystko. Tykhon Kopystko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Myroslav Miklashevych struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Artur Chaban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novovolynsjk. Orest Vasyliv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Brovary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demjan Nedilko to maneuver through the defense. Orest Vasyliv was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tymofiy Milevskyi succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 73 minutes into the match, Novovolynsjk's goal looked a bit too open when Zakhar Dorogan came free, but Tykhon Kopystko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Novovolynsjk's Tykhon Kopystko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Novovolynsjk from getting a goal against them. Demjan Nedilko helped the player get up and apologised. Novovolynsjk's Orest Vasyliv couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brovary. Tymofiy Milevskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Tymofiy Milevskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Chaban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Myroslav Miklashevych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Brovary were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Novovolynsjk side.
