Brovary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zakhar Dorogan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 minutes, Mykola Gonchar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irpinj FC Metalist and the Brovary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Brovary. Gennadiy Boyko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Volodymyr Solodkyi. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Zakhar Dorogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazariy Voronchenko hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Zakhar Dorogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. In the 60th minute, Anton Trotsenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Chaban made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Marjan Rogalyov sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Nazariy Voronchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Volodymyr Solodkyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zakhar Dorogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Danylo Maznytsja's late challenge caught a Brovary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Zakhar Dorogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brovary's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
