Cherkasy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tymofiy Bal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zakhar Mostovyi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zakhar Mostovyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymofiy Bal in the 67th minute of play forced Ordzhonikidze Trudovi Rezervy's goalkeeper Viktor Shulyak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rostyslav Taranenko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivan Dykyi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 70 minute of play. If Ivan Dykyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tymofiy Bal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Shulyak having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Ordzhonikidze Trudovi Rezervy failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
