Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Yakiv Shpak kicked off to start the match. Yevgen Kozachenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oleg Pylypaka in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Galchuk in the 10th minute of play forced Stryj's goalkeeper Valentyn Vitvitskyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Yakiv Shpak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oleg Pylypaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yevgen Kozachenko having to interfere. Vasyljkiv's Yakiv Shpak got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Kostyantyn Sirko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakiv Shpak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Valentyn Vitvitskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Dedechko got free with Valentyn Vitvitskyi in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentyn Vitvitskyi made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Eduard Dedechko sent off a good shot on target. Eduard Dedechko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentyn Vitvitskyi having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Stryj's goal looked a bit too open when Yakiv Shpak came free, but Valentyn Vitvitskyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Oleg Pylypaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stryj's supporters rose to their feet, but Oleg Pylypaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yevgen Kozachenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Myroslav Dolganskyi was the one to do the kick off. Eduard Dedechko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Valentyn Vitvitskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pylyp Portyanko during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pylyp Portyanko hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Valentyn Dopilka's late challenge caught a Vasyljkiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentyn Dopilka helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stryj's Valentyn Dopilka got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Eduard Dedechko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentyn Vitvitskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Dedechko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentyn Vitvitskyi having to interfere. Yakiv Shpak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Valentyn Vitvitskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yakiv Shpak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduard Dedechko in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentyn Vitvitskyi saved Stryj from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bogdan Galchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasyljkiv's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Galchuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentyn Vitvitskyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Valentyn Dopilka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakiv Shpak kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Valentyn Vitvitskyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakiv Shpak in the 87th minute of play. Valentyn Vitvitskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yakiv Shpak in the 88th minute of the match.
