The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Tykhon Gaydarzhy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orest Poltavets. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Polonne's Vsevolod Krayivsjkyi got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ivan Uljanytskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vyacheslav Goncharenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxym Predchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Polonne getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Artur Popadyukha hit a great ball. Vyacheslav Goncharenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Uljanytskyi in the 13th minute of the match. Polonne's Vyacheslav Goncharenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxym Predchuk in the 14th minute of play. Lyubomyr Yalovets kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Valentyn Kernozenko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vyacheslav Goncharenko. Polonne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ivan Uljanytskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladyslav Gumenyuk got free with Orest Poltavets in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horodenka's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tykhon Gaydarzhy 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Vladyslav Gumenyuk struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Orest Poltavets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polonne. Ivan Uljanytskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vyacheslav Goncharenko having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, one of Polonne:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vyacheslav Goncharenko had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Valentyn Kernozenko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 2-1 came in the 37th minute when Valentyn Kernozenko all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Vyacheslav Goncharenko. Tykhon Gaydarzhy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tykhon Gaydarzhy in the 46th minute of play forced Horodenka's goalkeeper Orest Poltavets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th play minute Vladyslav Gumenyuk came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Orest Poltavets. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxym Predchuk to strike the kick off in the second half. Vladyslav Gumenyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Orest Poltavets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Tykhon Gaydarzhy made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Horodenka's Orest Poltavets tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Uljanytskyi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vyacheslav Goncharenko having to make a save. Vyacheslav Goncharenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Uljanytskyi in the 62nd minute. If Tykhon Gaydarzhy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horodenka's Orest Poltavets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladyslav Gumenyuk in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Maxym Predchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horodenka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxym Predchuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vyacheslav Goncharenko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Uljanytskyi in the 77th minute. Tykhon Gaydarzhy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Orest Poltavets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladyslav Gumenyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vladyslav Gumenyuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maxym Predchuk came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Horodenka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxym Predchuk couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Polonne had won after a very even match.
