After a defensive mix-up in Krasyliv's zone, Marko Datsenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatoliy Baltacha came out of the goal and Marko Datsenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Uzhgorod's Vadym Sopkiv got a free kick in the 5th minute. Danylo Krukovets struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Kostyantyn Davydenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krasyliv. Nazariy Donets kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Uzhgorod got a freekick which was hit by Vadym Sopkiv. Denys Motuz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kostyantyn Davydenko. Uzhgorod's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uzhgorod's Kostyantyn Davydenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grygoriy Nikitenko in the 17th minute of play. Krasyliv's Danylo Krukovets got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Uzhgorod's Vadym Sopkiv got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kostyantyn Davydenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grygoriy Nikitenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Uzhgorod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vadym Sopkiv to maneuver through the defense. If Danylo Krukovets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uzhgorod's Kostyantyn Davydenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grygoriy Nikitenko in the 29th minute of play. Anatoliy Baltacha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marko Datsenko in the 37th minute. Grygoriy Nikitenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kostyantyn Davydenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olexiy Rylskyi made a kick off. Uzhgorod's Kostyantyn Davydenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Uzhgorod from getting a goal against them. Anton Mynka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostyantyn Davydenko having to interfere. Danylo Krukovets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kostyantyn Davydenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Krasyliv getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sergiy Rotan hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Grygoriy Nikitenko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kostyantyn Davydenko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kostyantyn Davydenko made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Danylo Krukovets sent off a good shot on target. Nazariy Donets didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Marko Datsenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anatoliy Baltacha. Krasyliv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marko Datsenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Krasyliv's goalkeeper Anatoliy Baltacha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marko Datsenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
