After a rather tough play, Sarny FC Zoria's Fedir Didyk got a free kick in the 5th minute. Viktor Gavrylyuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Brychko in the 10th minute of the match. If Artur Brychko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olexandr Loboyko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Beryslaw's zone, Myroslav Tarnovskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beryslaw's goalkeeper Demjan Shalin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kostyantyn Pylyp hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarny FC Zoria's goalkeeper Viktor Gavrylyuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olexandr Loboyko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demjan Shalin having to interfere. Kostyantyn Pylyp hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Roman Babiychuk, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Artur Brychko took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Viktor Gavrylyuk to make any attempt to save it. Beryslaw's Valentyn Lytovchenko got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentyn Lytovchenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Gavrylyuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artur Brychko to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Sarny FC Zoria's Myroslav Tarnovskyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demjan Shalin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Artur Brychko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Gavrylyuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Viktor Gavrylyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentyn Lytovchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Myroslav Tarnovskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sarny FC Zoria's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Beryslaw had won, even though Sarny FC Zoria had held more of the ball.
