Myroslav Rudyuk made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Vasyl Palamarchuk sent off a good shot on target. Maxym Rozlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vsevolod Galuschak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mykyta Shalata in the 7th minute of the match. Kozjatyn's Leonid Platon got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasyl Palamarchuk in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Myroslav Rudyuk saved Kiev from getting behind. Maxym Rozlach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vsevolod Galuschak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasyl Palamarchuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Vasyl Palamarchuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiev's Myroslav Rudyuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Vasyl Palamarchuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myroslav Rudyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vasyl Palamarchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vasyl Palamarchuk sped through Kiev's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Myroslav Rudyuk. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasyl Palamarchuk couldn't finish the play. Leonid Platon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Myroslav Rudyuk having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Vsevolod Kutsenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kozjatyn the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kiev's Vsevolod Kutsenko got a free kick in the 79th minute. Kiev's supporters rose to their feet, but Mykyta Shalata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vsevolod Galuschak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mykyta Shalata in the 85th minute of play forced Kozjatyn's goalkeeper Vsevolod Galuschak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiev's Myroslav Rudyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonid Platon in the 92nd minute of play. Myroslav Rudyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasyl Palamarchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kozjatyn fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kiev had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
