Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Danylo Zdebskyi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Boryslav FC Shakhtar's Nazar Dovgyi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Danylo Zdebskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myroslav Shtanjko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Danylo Zdebskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Symon Petrenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Myroslav Shtanjko having to interfere. Myroslav Shtanjko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Symon Petrenko in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Oleg Puchkov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Myroslav Shtanjko skillfully saved the ball. Gavrylo Lypovyj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Yuriy Shevchenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petro Yatchuk. Boryslav FC Shakhtar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuriy Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Boryslav FC Shakhtar's Petro Yatchuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Boryslav FC Shakhtar from getting a goal against them. Yuriy Shevchenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petro Yatchuk having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Boryslav FC Shakhtar's Taras Migalatyuk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danylo Zdebskyi in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Myroslav Shtanjko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 46 minutes, Symon Petrenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boryslav FC Shakhtar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Symon Petrenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavrylo Lypovyj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Donetsjk getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gavrylo Lypovyj hit a great ball. When Gavrylo Lypovyj came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Donetsjk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavrylo Lypovyj couldn't finish the play. After 54 played minutes Boryslav FC Shakhtar got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Puchkov. The supporters of Boryslav FC Shakhtar booed when Donetsjk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grygoriy Sakhnevych didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Gavrylo Lypovyj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boryslav FC Shakhtar's Petro Yatchuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuriy Shevchenko in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Grygoriy Sakhnevych shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petro Yatchuk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Symon Petrenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boryslav FC Shakhtar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Symon Petrenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Myroslav Shtanjko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danylo Zdebskyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danylo Yarovenko hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Donetsjk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
