Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vasyl Palamarchuk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Yuriy Shevchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuriy Shevchenko in the 5th minute of play forced Kozjatyn's goalkeeper Vsevolod Galuschak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leonid Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Donetsjk's Danylo Yarovenko got a free kick in the 11th minute. Leonid Platon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Myroslav Shtanjko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Danylo Yarovenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donetsjk's supporters rose to their feet, but Danylo Yarovenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vsevolod Galuschak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Gavrylo Lypovyj notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kozjatyn's Vsevolod Galuschak. Vsevolod Galuschak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th match minute, Kozjatyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Kramar to maneuver through the defense. Donetsjk were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Kozjatyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vasyl Kotevych took the corner. After taking down the ball on Donetsjk's corner Vasyl Kotevych fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vsevolod Galuschak quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Kozjatyn getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Zakhar Gurskyi hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Zakhar Gurskyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Vasyl Kotevych sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kozjatyn's Vsevolod Galuschak didn't even have to move. Yuriy Shevchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vsevolod Galuschak having to interfere. Myroslav Shtanjko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonid Platon in the 43rd minute. After the first half Donetsjk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavrylo Lypovyj made a kick off. Myroslav Shtanjko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Platon in the 55th minute of the match. When Vsevolod Semuka fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donetsjk's protests and gave Vsevolod Semuka a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Donetsjk got a freekick which was hit by Vsevolod Semuka. Yuriy Granovskyi, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Donetsjk's Yuriy Shevchenko got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vsevolod Galuschak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vsevolod Semuka in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Vasyl Palamarchuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Myroslav Shtanjko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Donetsjk's Myroslav Shtanjko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasyl Palamarchuk in the 84th minute of play. During the 85th minute of the match Vsevolod Semuka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vsevolod Semuka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Vsevolod Semuka kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazar Zakharevych during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donetsjk:s Myroslav Shtanjko showed great skill when he stopped Yuriy Granovskyi:s penalty. After 90 minutes of play, Kozjatyn's Yuriy Granovskyi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Myroslav Shtanjko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vasyl Palamarchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Myroslav Shtanjko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
