The referee showed Vadym Platon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sorochynsk FC Dnipro's Vadym Platon got a free kick in the 11th minute. Kostyantyn Kushnir took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vadym Shtanjko. In the 27thth minute of the game Volodymyr Skoba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brody's Anton Zgurskyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Madyar during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Volodymyr Skoba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Zgurskyi having to make a save.

In the 52nd minute, Kostyantyn Kushnir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sorochynsk FC Dnipro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
