Igor Tverdyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaroslav Dorogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Kremenchuk booed when Nizhyn Dynamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodion Polyovyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodion Khomyn in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodion Makarenko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yaroslav Dorogan in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Tverdyuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yakiv Venglynskyi charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yakiv Venglynskyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kremenchuk's Yakiv Venglynskyi got a free kick in the 14th minute. Kremenchuk's Igor Tverdyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaroslav Dorogan in the 16th minute of play. Eduard Kozibroda hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute of the match Gennadiy Rogiznyi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodion Makarenko skillfully saved the ball. Igor Tverdyuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaroslav Dorogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gennadiy Rogiznyi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 26th minute Yaroslav Dorogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Tverdyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nizhyn Dynamo's Leonid Syrotyuk got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yaroslav Dorogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Sobolevskyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Sobolevskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Igor Tverdyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Leschuk was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Tymur Kovalyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nizhyn Dynamo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kremenchuk the free kick. After 56 played minutes Nizhyn Dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Tymur Kovalyuk. In the 66th minute, Andriy Romanyshyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Leschuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Rodion Makarenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Yaroslav Dorogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Tverdyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Yaroslav Dorogan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Tverdyuk. Kremenchuk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yaroslav Dorogan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Viktor Sobolevskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Sobolevskyi scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Tverdyuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
