Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Malyn Spartak's Yakiv Cherednyuk in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kremenchuk's goalie prevented a goal. If Viktor Leschuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grygoriy Vovchuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodion Khomyn in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Viktor Leschuk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Grygoriy Vovchuk, passed just outside the right post. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Kremenchuk. Gennadiy Rogiznyi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Grygoriy Vovchuk. 1-0. Malyn Spartak's Grygoriy Vovchuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Leschuk in the 17th minute of play. Yarema Dutchak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Igor Tverdyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kremenchuk's zone, Yakiv Cherednyuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Tverdyuk came out of the goal and Yakiv Cherednyuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yakiv Cherednyuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Tverdyuk having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Viktor Leschuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kremenchuk's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Leschuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grygoriy Vovchuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yarema Dutchak in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Tverdyuk saved Kremenchuk from getting behind. If Yarema Dutchak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Malyn Spartak's Gennadiy Migalatyuk got a free kick in the 47th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yarema Dutchak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodion Khomyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grygoriy Vovchuk having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Leschuk during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Viktor Leschuk hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Grygoriy Vovchuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Leschuk in the 65th minute of play. If Rodion Khomyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Yarema Dutchak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yarema Dutchak got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Igor Tverdyuk handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Kremenchuk getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pylyp Getjman hit a great ball. The supporters of Malyn Spartak booed when Kremenchuk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pylyp Getjman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kremenchuk's goalkeeper Igor Tverdyuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yakiv Cherednyuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
