In the 12thth minute of the game Volodymyr Kapanystyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volnovacha's Marjan Gurka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Marjan Gurka managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Alushta's Denys Beletskyi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alushta's Denys Beletskyi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denys Beletskyi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Marjan Gurka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 23 played minutes Volnovacha got a freekick which was hit by Vasyl Semenjaka. When Vasyl Semenjaka fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volnovacha's protests and gave Vasyl Semenjaka a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Volnovacha's Vasyl Semenjaka got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yarema Nedilko during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Volnovacha booed when Alushta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yarema Nedilko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volnovacha were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Alushta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petro Shershun took the corner. Denys Beletskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Mykyta Vischak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alushta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volnovacha the free kick. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Volnovacha. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Vyacheslav Kovalchuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denys Korol in the 55th minute of the match. Marjan Gurka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volodymyr Kapanystyi in the 59th minute of play. Mefodiy Voloshyn charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Volnovacha players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alushta from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
