Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marko Lelyuk started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Marjan Dutchak made a precise shot to the right of Demjan Yesin. FC Volyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Volyn's zone, Olexandr Zubko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demjan Yesin came out of the goal and Olexandr Zubko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nazariy Bondarenko struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rostyslav Siverchuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Volyn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Lelyuk in the 15th minute of play forced Melitopolj Stal's goalkeeper Rostyslav Siverchuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Nazariy Bondarenko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gennadiy Kryklyvyj kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A hard shot by Tykhon Leschuk from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Rostyslav Siverchuk's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 22 minutes into the match, Melitopolj Stal's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Lelyuk came free, but Rostyslav Siverchuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Marko Lelyuk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Demjan Yesin came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Melitopolj Stal's Olexandr Zubko. But to his dismay, Olexandr Zubko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marjan Dutchak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nazariy Bondarenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rostyslav Siverchuk made a huge save. If Olexandr Zubko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Marjan Dutchak made the kick off in the second half. Demjan Yesin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marjan Dutchak in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Marjan Dutchak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melitopolj Stal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marjan Dutchak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olexandr Zubko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Demjan Yesin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marjan Dutchak had several of the FC Volyn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Demjan Yesin as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, FC Volyn's Tykhon Leschuk got a free kick in the 66th minute. Yevgen Puchkov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Melitopolj Stal's Rostyslav Siverchuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Lelyuk in the 71st minute of play. Marjan Dutchak was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Marko Lelyuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazariy Bondarenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rostyslav Siverchuk having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Melitopolj Stal's Demjan Yesin threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marjan Dutchak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rostyslav Siverchuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazariy Bondarenko went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Marjan Dutchak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Demjan Yesin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tykhon Leschuk kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Melitopolj Stal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Melitopolj Stal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
