Denys Zhersh might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vadym Veretynskyi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denys Zhersh ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Yevgen Viter made the kick off in the second half. Yevgen Viter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Platon Pasjkiv's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vadym Veretynskyi was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
