In the 3rd minute Valeriy Kozyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Maschenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Lazarchuk kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Valeriy Kozyr, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Stanislav Maschenko was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Mir Donetsk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Igor Lazarchuk kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Maxym Sirko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Maschenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andriy Yarosh's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Maxym Sirko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roman Ulitych. The goal made the score 2-0. Valeriy Kozyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roman Koloda came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Luhansjk FC Vorskla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Koloda couldn't finish the play. Roman Ulitych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxym Sirko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dmytro Zhak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Maxym Sirko made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Valeriy Kozyr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Koloda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, FC Mir Donetsk's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Koloda came free, but Roman Ulitych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Ulitych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Koloda, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Roman Koloda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, FC Mir Donetsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Migalevsjkyi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mir Donetsk's zone, Roman Koloda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ulitych came out of the goal and Roman Koloda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Ulitych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Koloda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Koloda might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Ulitych. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Koloda ran back to his position shaking his head. 80 minutes into the match, Maxym Sirko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Ulitych. FC Mir Donetsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxym Sirko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 87th minute, Platon Kovtun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valeriy Kozyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Valeriy Kozyr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Mir Donetsk's Roman Ulitych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmytro Zhak in the 96th minute of play.
