In the 11th minute, Valentyn Ischuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borys Kruglyak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nazar Matviychuk went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Оболонь-Бровары's goal looked a bit too open when Yarema Matyyuk came free, but Borys Kruglyak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Rivne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yarema Matyyuk to maneuver through the defense. Rivne's Roman Dmytrulin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Rivne from getting a goal against them. After 28 minutes, Yarema Matyyuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivne and the Оболонь-Бровары players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yarema Matyyuk hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Borys Kruglyak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yarema Matyyuk in the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Nazar Matviychuk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Borys Kruglyak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Yarema Matyyuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Nazar Matviychuk made the kick off in the second half. Vitaliy Golub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nazar Matviychuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Kruglyak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Yarema Matyyuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Nazar Matviychuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Kruglyak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Оболонь-Бровары's zone, Vitaliy Golub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Kruglyak came out of the goal and Vitaliy Golub tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Оболонь-Бровары's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy Golub came free, but Borys Kruglyak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nazar Matviychuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Kruglyak was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Rivne's Nazar Matviychuk got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anatoliy Stetsenko kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Оболонь-Бровары manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rivne to win.
