Petro Kobets kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Valentyn Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olexiy Ushakov got free with Oleg Rudenko in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Grygoriy Gladiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Rudenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiy Skorokhod stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Illja Postranskyi's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Nikopolj FC Arsenal's Oleg Rudenko got control of the ball when Olexiy Ushakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Illja Postranskyi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sergiy Skorokhod didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nikopolj FC Arsenal. Petro Kobets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes, Grygoriy Gladiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kryvyj Rih and the Nikopolj FC Arsenal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kryvyj Rih getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Grygoriy Gladiy hit a great ball. Nikopolj FC Arsenal's Oleg Rudenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Nikopolj FC Arsenal from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Illja Postranskyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergiy Skorokhod was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Olexiy Ushakov came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Kryvyj Rih fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olexiy Ushakov couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentyn Gordon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Yevgen Bidnyj made a precise shot to the right of Sergiy Skorokhod. Kryvyj Rih's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olexiy Ushakov in the 55th minute of play forced Nikopolj FC Arsenal's goalkeeper Oleg Rudenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, Yevgen Bidnyj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nikopolj FC Arsenal and the Kryvyj Rih players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nikopolj FC Arsenal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Yevgen Bidnyj hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Olexiy Ushakov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Oleg Rudenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valentyn Gordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Oleg Rudenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Olexiy Ushakov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nikopolj FC Arsenal's Oleg Rudenko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Illja Postranskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Illja Postranskyi kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 78thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kryvyj Rih's keeper Sergiy Skorokhod was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Sergiy Skorokhod was a little too slow when Petro Kobets got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. After 89 played minutes, Kryvyj Rih's Myroslav Yaremenko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oleg Rudenko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kryvyj Rih reached it. Petro Kobets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiy Skorokhod having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Illja Postranskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Kryvyj Rih supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nikopolj FC Arsenal's performance. The match ended with a win for Nikopolj FC Arsenal.
