After 4 minutes of play, Alchevsjk Spartak's Zakhar Snizhko made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demjan Bryl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demjan Bryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakhar Snizhko in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Yuriy Lelyuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alchevsjk Spartak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар the free kick. Yuriy Lelyuk kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Zakhar Snizhko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Demjan Bryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergiy Granovskyi struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Viktor Varyvoda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар. 16 minutes into the match, ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's goal looked a bit too open when Zakhar Snizhko came free, but Demjan Bryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vsevolod Siletskyi hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's goal looked a bit too open when Zakhar Snizhko came free, but Demjan Bryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Maxym Grytsuk made a precise shot to the right of Demjan Bryl. ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's Demjan Bryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zakhar Snizhko in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Zakhar Snizhko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alchevsjk Spartak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sergiy Granovskyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Varyvoda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Yakiv Ryabovol took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Viktor Varyvoda to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute, ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's Sergiy Granovskyi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Zakhar Snizhko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demjan Bryl having to interfere. When Maxym Grytsuk came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Alchevsjk Spartak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxym Grytsuk couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergiy Granovskyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Alchevsjk Spartak getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mefodiy Lubenets hit a great ball. Pavlo Karnoza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viktor Varyvoda. Alchevsjk Spartak's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's Yakiv Ryabovol got a free kick in the 58th minute. With an all-out effort, Alchevsjk Spartak's Demjan Bryl threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zakhar Snizhko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Zakhar Snizhko in the 64th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Demjan Bryl kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Maxym Grytsuk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Demjan Bryl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Demjan Bryl didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 2-6. Maxym Grytsuks short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Demjan Bryl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Demjan Bryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zakhar Snizhko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Alchevsjk Spartak were awarded a corner. In the 85thth minute of the game Zakhar Snizhko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар's Demjan Bryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zakhar Snizhko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Varyvoda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiy Granovskyi in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes, Myroslav Kravchuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар and the Alchevsjk Spartak players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, ОБОЛОНЬ-Бровар was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myroslav Kravchuk to maneuver through the defense. Demjan Bryl came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Alchevsjk Spartak's Maxym Grytsuk. But to his dismay, Maxym Grytsuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-8.
