The audience was convinced that Yaroslav Marynchuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Veretko was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Vinnytsja Metalist's Arkhyp Marynchuk got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yaroslav Marynchuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Veretko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yaroslav Marynchuk ran back to his position shaking his head. Maxym Pyatenko's late challenge caught a Vinnytsja Metalist's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxym Pyatenko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Maxym Pyatenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arkhyp Marynchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinnytsja Metalist's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkhyp Marynchuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Chyzhevskyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, Yaroslav Marynchuk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Veretko. Yaroslav Marynchuk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sudak's Yaroslav Marynchuk suffered a concussion in the 28th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 28 minutes into the game, Ruslan Sopkiv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vinnytsja Metalist's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sudak the free kick. In the 29th minute, Ruslan Sopkiv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match Eduard Vikaryuk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lev Chyzhevskyi skillfully saved the ball. If Yevgen Ryabchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vinnytsja Metalist's Artur Veretko got control of the ball when Yevgen Ryabchuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yarema Sapay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Veretko having to interfere. Artur Veretko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yevgen Ryabchuk in the 41st minute. Yevgen Ryabchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Veretko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Yarema Sapay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Artur Veretko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Artur Veretko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yarema Sapay in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yevgen Ryabchuk in the 54th minute of play forced Vinnytsja Metalist's goalkeeper Artur Veretko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruslan Sopkiv kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Arkhyp Marynchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yevgen Ryabchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Artur Veretko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Arkhyp Marynchuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Veretko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yevgen Ryabchuk in the 66th minute of play. Artur Veretko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yarema Sapay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Sudak's goalkeeper Lev Chyzhevskyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkhyp Marynchuk. When Lyubomyr Drabenyuk fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sudak's protests and gave Lyubomyr Drabenyuk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Lyubomyr Drabenyuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Pavlo Gudzikevych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Chyzhevskyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olexiy Prokopovych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yevgen Ryabchuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Veretko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yevgen Ryabchuk ran back to his position shaking his head. Olexiy Prokopovych scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Veretko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lyubomyr Drabenyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Artur Veretko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sudak's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
