ФК Патріот's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Arsenal Kiev the free kick. 6 minutes into the match, ФК Патріот's goalkeeper Yakiv Babiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tymur Predchuk. Yakiv Babiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denys Grebenozhko, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. FC Arsenal Kiev's Tymur Predchuk got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yakiv Babiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denys Grebenozhko, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tymur Predchuk kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot ФК Патріот's keeper Yakiv Babiy was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gennadiy Kaznyukha kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denys Grebenozhko in the 21st minute of play forced ФК Патріот's goalkeeper Yakiv Babiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Denys Grebenozhko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 29th minute, Denys Grebenozhko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ФК Патріот's Yakiv Babiy got control of the ball when Tymur Predchuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Arsenal Kiev's Borys Tytarenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gennadiy Kaznyukha in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal Kiev's Denys Grebenozhko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yakiv Babiy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal Kiev's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Kaznyukha came free, but Borys Tytarenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tymur Predchuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakiv Babiy having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Denys Grebenozhko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yakiv Babiy. Denys Grebenozhko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Yakiv Babiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tymur Predchuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yakiv Babiy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denys Grebenozhko went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Denys Grebenozhko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakiv Babiy having to interfere. Lev Yaschenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Yakiv Babiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denys Grebenozhko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Yakiv Babiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denys Grebenozhko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ФК Патріот's Grygoriy Zapoyasko got a free kick in the 94th minute. FC Arsenal Kiev walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
