Maxym Kovtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakiv Babiy having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Debaljtseve's goal looked a bit too open when Gennadiy Kaznyukha came free, but Stanislav Pyvovarenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Pyvovarenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykyta Nagirnyak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Yevgen Bugaychuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Debaljtseve and the ФК Патріот players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yevgen Bugaychuk hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Grygoriy Zapoyasko fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 42nd minute, Vladyslav Petrunya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Mykyta Nagirnyak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Pyvovarenko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Debaljtseve players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ФК Патріот were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Volodymyr Doroshenko in the 54th minute of play forced ФК Патріот's goalkeeper Yakiv Babiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxym Kovtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakiv Babiy having to interfere. Stanislav Pyvovarenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gennadiy Kaznyukha's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Rodion Omelyanchuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Maxym Kovtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakiv Babiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodion Omelyanchuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yakiv Babiy was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Symon Maschenko hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Rodion Omelyanchuk in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in ФК Патріот's zone, Maxym Kovtun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yakiv Babiy came out of the goal and Maxym Kovtun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Debaljtseve fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Debaljtseve's Maxym Kovtun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Debaljtseve's zone, Gennadiy Kaznyukha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Pyvovarenko came out of the goal and Gennadiy Kaznyukha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Debaljtseve got a freekick which was hit by Volodymyr Doroshenko. Maxym Kovtun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
