With an all-out effort, Saky FC Shakhtar's Viktor Levchenko threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yakiv Jakovenko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dniprodzerzhynsjk's Viktor Levchenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Dniprodzerzhynsjk from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Anatoliy Pitsur made the kick off in the second half. Viktor Levchenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yakiv Jakovenko in the 51st minute of play. Yakiv Jakovenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Levchenko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakiv Jakovenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dniprodzerzhynsjk's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
