Myrhorod's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vyacheslav Zmievskyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anatoliy Bashlay took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gennadiy Nazarenko. Gennadiy Nazarenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Myrhorod's Mykola Opryshko got control of the ball when Symon Verkhovod tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anatoliy Bashlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anatoliy Bashlay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gennadiy Nazarenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Symon Verkhovod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anatoliy Bashlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 50 minutes, Symon Verkhovod managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solotschiw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Symon Verkhovod was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yarema Dolotko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vyacheslav Zmievskyi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gennadiy Nazarenko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Myrhorod. 58 minutes into the match, Myrhorod's Anatoliy Bashlay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gennadiy Nazarenko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavlo Volodjko charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavlo Volodjko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Borys Famulyak hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Symon Verkhovod had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Myrhorod booed when Solotschiw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yarema Dolotko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Myrhorod's Mykola Opryshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yarema Dolotko in the 71st minute of play. If Yarema Dolotko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vyacheslav Zmievskyi took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gennadiy Nazarenko. Gennadiy Nazarenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Myrhorod's Mykola Opryshko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yarema Dolotko in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Myrhorod got a freekick which was hit by Vyacheslav Zmievskyi. In the 92nd minute, Vyacheslav Zmievskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Bashlay in the 94th minute of play forced Solotschiw's goalkeeper Gennadiy Nazarenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Anatoliy Bashlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gennadiy Nazarenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taras Vovk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mykola Opryshko having to interfere. Myrhorod's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
