Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bogdan Popovchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Popovchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matviy Paraschak having to interfere. In the 13th minute Gennadiy Perekytnyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostyantyn Batrachenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostyantyn Batrachenko came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Richynkowe Metalist's Eduard Zozulya. But to his dismay, Eduard Zozulya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Nizhyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriy Dmytrulin to maneuver through the defense. Matviy Paraschak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Popovchenko's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Bogdan Popovchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matviy Paraschak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Nazariy Fedjkovych was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Richynkowe Metalist's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nizhyn the free kick. In the 24th minute, Nazariy Fedjkovych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Zozulya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matviy Paraschak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Popovchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Bogdan Popovchenko made the kick off in the second half. Vitaliy Khymchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Bogdan Popovchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matviy Paraschak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Richynkowe Metalist's Matviy Paraschak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Popovchenko in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nizhyn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonid Svitlychnyi was slow to take the kick. During this time Richynkowe Metalist's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Richynkowe Metalist booed when Nizhyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitaliy Khymchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Nizhyn got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Popovchenko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Popovchenko in the 75th minute of play forced Richynkowe Metalist's goalkeeper Matviy Paraschak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Popovchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nizhyn's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
