With his leg Nazariy Datsenko managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Torpedo Lvov's Roman Rudnyak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 23 minutes, Yaroslav Kolomiets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaroslav Kolomiets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Torpedo Lvov's Anatoliy Kopolovets slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nazariy Datsenko. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Torpedo Lvov's Anatoliy Kopolovets got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Roman Rudnyak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazariy Datsenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatoliy Kopolovets in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Rudnyak in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nazariy Datsenko saved Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk from getting behind. A collision led to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Illja Bidnyj hit a great ball. Nazariy Datsenko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Rudnyak in the 85th minute of the match. If Anatoliy Kopolovets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
