The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Pavliv during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Kurachove:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for НИКА. Kostyantyn Skybenko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kostyantyn Vaschuk. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svyatoslav Zabransjkyi in the 15th minute of play forced Kurachove's goalkeeper Kostyantyn Vaschuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. НИКА's Pylyp Gumenyuk got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonid Kavinskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmytro Kurylko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Kurachove's Kostyantyn Vaschuk got control of the ball when Pylyp Gumenyuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yarema Grygoryk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Leonid Kavinskyi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Svyatoslav Zabransjkyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostyantyn Vaschuk having to interfere.
