Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pavlo Pisotskyi started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Tymofiy Bondar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kiev-City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tymofiy Bondar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yarema Karamushka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Pavlo Pisotskyi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yarema Karamushka. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Rodion Yarovenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kiev-City's Lyubomyr Martynyuk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olexandr Goshkoderya hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Pavlo Pisotskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Yarema Karamushka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, FC Kiev-City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Kachan to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Olexandr Goshkoderya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sunrise's Yarema Karamushka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlo Pisotskyi in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Roman Kachan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kiev-City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunrise the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodion Yarovenko in the 30th minute of play forced FC Kiev-City's goalkeeper Lyubomyr Martynyuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Skorokhod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyubomyr Martynyuk having to interfere. Sunrise's Yarema Karamushka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlo Pisotskyi in the 36th minute of play. Tymofiy Bondar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Sunrise's goalkeeper Yarema Karamushka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tymofiy Bondar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodion Yarovenko was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kiev-City's goalkeeper Lyubomyr Martynyuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tymofiy Bondar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yarema Karamushka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sunrise's zone, Pavlo Pisotskyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yarema Karamushka came out of the goal and Pavlo Pisotskyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yarema Karamushka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavlo Pisotskyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymofiy Bondar in the 71st minute of play forced Sunrise's goalkeeper Yarema Karamushka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Rodion Yarovenko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lyubomyr Martynyuk, passed just outside the right post. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kiev-City's goalkeeper Lyubomyr Martynyuk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of FC Kiev-City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sunrise:s goal. Lyubomyr Martynyuk went to the wrong direction when Andriy Kozibroda was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Kiev-City's Roman Kachan got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sunrise's Andriy Kozibroda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Kiev-City. FC Kiev-City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sunrise for a fine match.
