After 2 played minutes VFL WOLFSBURG got a freekick which was hit by Stepan Yesin. Tymofiy Bondar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Blavatsjkyi having to interfere. 5 minutes in the game, Pavlo Pisotskyi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anton Blavatsjkyi having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Tymofiy Bondar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Blavatsjkyi. VFL WOLFSBURG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tymofiy Bondar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 13 minutes, Stepan Yesin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VFL WOLFSBURG and the FC Kiev-City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VFL WOLFSBURG getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Stepan Yesin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Kiev-City's Roman Kachan got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lyubomyr Kremenchutskyi struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lyubomyr Martynyuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VFL WOLFSBURG. If Lyubomyr Kremenchutskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Kiev-City's Lyubomyr Martynyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyubomyr Kremenchutskyi in the 21st minute of play. Anton Blavatsjkyi made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Tymofiy Bondar sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Vladyslav Vitiv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Kiev-City booed when VFL WOLFSBURG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladyslav Vitiv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tymofiy Bondar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Anton Blavatsjkyi made a huge save. If Lyubomyr Kremenchutskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Blavatsjkyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlo Pisotskyi in the 35th minute of play. Anton Blavatsjkyi made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Tymofiy Bondar sent off a good shot on target. Pavlo Pisotskyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pavlo Pisotskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Nazar Pylypchuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VFL WOLFSBURG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kiev-City the free kick. Nazar Pylypchuk kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Pavlo Pisotskyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Blavatsjkyi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Pavlo Pisotskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Anton Blavatsjkyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Pavlo Pisotskyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Blavatsjkyi. FC Kiev-City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tymofiy Bondar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Blavatsjkyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lyubomyr Martynyuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyubomyr Kremenchutskyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, FC Kiev-City's goal looked a bit too open when Lyubomyr Kremenchutskyi came free, but Lyubomyr Martynyuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Gennadiy Yalanskyi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Kiev-City's Lyubomyr Martynyuk. Lyubomyr Martynyuk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pavlo Pisotskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
