A collision led to Rubizhne Metalurg getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Maxym Shepkovskyi hit a great ball. Rubizhne Metalurg's Sergiy Taranenko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Rubizhne Metalurg from getting a goal against them. Mefodiy Khoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxym Shepkovskyi in the 10th minute of play. Dmytro Tsyperdyuk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergiy Taranenko came out and tried to block the shot, but Dmytro Tsyperdyuk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Rubizhne Metalurg's goalkeeper Sergiy Taranenko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dmytro Tsyperdyuk. When Dmytro Tsyperdyuk came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Slavuta FC Chornomorets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmytro Tsyperdyuk couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Slavuta FC Chornomorets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oleg Kovalchuk to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Dmytro Tsyperdyuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavuta FC Chornomorets's supporters rose to their feet, but Dmytro Tsyperdyuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiy Taranenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Oleg Syrotyuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slavuta FC Chornomorets's Yarema Kutsyi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxym Shepkovskyi in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mefodiy Khoma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mefodiy Khoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taras Lytvynchuk in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 minutes, Dmytro Tsyperdyuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slavuta FC Chornomorets and the Rubizhne Metalurg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yarema Kutsyi was the one to do the kick off. Mefodiy Khoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oleg Syrotyuk in the 51st minute of the match. If Yarema Kutsyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Ostap Romanenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rubizhne Metalurg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slavuta FC Chornomorets the free kick. Ostap Romanenko hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dmytro Tsyperdyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sergiy Taranenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Yarema Kutsyi put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sergiy Taranenko. In the 69th match minute, Slavuta FC Chornomorets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladyslav Laschenko to maneuver through the defense. Slavuta FC Chornomorets's Mefodiy Khoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxym Shepkovskyi in the 74th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Taras Lytvynchuk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yarema Kutsyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sergiy Taranenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yarema Kutsyi took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergiy Taranenko. Sergiy Taranenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rubizhne Metalurg's zone, Yarema Kutsyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiy Taranenko came out of the goal and Yarema Kutsyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Anatoliy Chopko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rubizhne Metalurg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slavuta FC Chornomorets the free kick. After 93 played minutes Rubizhne Metalurg got a freekick which was hit by Anatoliy Chopko. Rubizhne Metalurg's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
